Brief Introduction:

Dr. Xiaopeng Si works as a tenured associate professor at Tianjin University. Dr. Si obtained his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, and finished his visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Si focused on the research of Brain cognition and intelligence, medical artificial intelligence, neural engineering and brain-computer interaction, multimodal neural information processing and intelligent computing, affective brain-computer interface and affective neuroscience, etc. He has presided over and participated in a number of important national and provincial projects, including National Key Research and Development Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China General and Youth Program, Tianjin Project + Team Key Talent Training Program, Tianjin Natural Science Foundation of China General Program, Tianjin University Talents Program, etc. He has published articles in PNAS, IEEE J Biomed Health, Cereb Cortex (cover paper), J Neural Eng, Cyborg and Bionic Systems and other top international and high-level journals in this field. 8 national invention patents and 2 software Copyrights have been authorized. Academic achievements have been reported by Nat Commun, J Neurosci, NeuroImage, Hum Brain Mapp, Cereb Cortex and other top and high-level journals. His team won the champion and the first prize of the emotional brain-computer Interface final of the World Robot Competition, the second prize and the second prize of the brain-computer Interface Youth paper Competition of the World Robot Competition. He has also won the first batch of famous teachers of ideological and political education for postgraduate courses in Tianjin, the first Prize of Teaching Achievement Award of Tianjin University, and the first prize of Excellent Online courses for postgraduate students of Tianjin University. He is a member of Brain-Computer Interface and Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, senior expert member of China Brain-Computer Interface Industry Alliance, member of Education and Training Branch of China Medical Equipment Association, standing member of Health Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Tianjin Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a member of the editorial board of Frontiers in Neurorobotics and an expert in science fund review.
